Finely it is confirmed that 7 pupils and two teachers from Akosombo International School is coming to Byåsen and Norway, and that in less than a week!! This will be the firs group of students coming from Ghana to Norway as part of our exchange program. On Friday we delivered the letters from Akosombo to the pupils at home. Theresa held a good presentation about the similarities and differences between going to school in Norway and Ghana. The grades came two and two to get their letters, and Theresa delivered them for you (Akosombo students) ☺.
They also spoke about what has happened with the environmental, educational and cultural exchange since the school Director and Administrator was here two years ago. The coordinating teacher had prepared a big surprise for all of us - on the big screen in the assembly hall we got to see the Akosombo school choir singing their "Electricity song"!

Tomorrow the 7th grade is going to get their letters; they had exams at Friday so they had to complete that before getting the letters.
Maybe you noticed something new about the blog, yeah it’s in English. That’s because we have a lot of readers outside Norway, so this is for you. In particular it’s so for the pupils, teachers and parents in Akosombo so that they can get a bit prepared on what to expect for the journey - and for those not traveling to be updated day by day while the visitors are her. I guess you also noticed that I’m not really good in English so, sorry if you don’t understand everything.
